Since 1992, Gestra s.r.o. is a private-owned company. Before privatization - in 1990, we have started cooperation with Porsfeld, a German manufacturer of renowned small paving stone splitters - HSM 200x280/45t. This was a splitter with high-pressure Bosch hydraulics with a radial-flow pump featuring the single-level characteristics of the pressure build-up depending on drop of the supplied oil volume. This hydraulic system has proven very practical and has been used with no changes to date. However, the engineering part was showing weak and defective areas; this was our designing and development beginning. After our company was privatized and Porsfeld was dissolved in 1993, Gestra s.r.o. started its own development of the technology. We were highly interested in clients’ needs as well as collecting experience in the real operation and developing new machines and accessories. We were serious about the fact that clients want to produce on the machines and not to repair them. Today, our small HSM 200x280/43t splitter ranks to leaders among European competitors. Our splitter is not only wanted for its quality and durability but also for high-quality and quick service. We have this splitter, as well as larger ones that have become standards, certified with TÜV certificates.
 

Our company resides in the beautiful surroundings of Orlické mountains, in the woods of the Zlatý creek valley. During the course of twelve years in this specific industry, we have been exporting (along with production for domestic market) our machines and equipment to more than fifteen countries worldwide - either as direct sale, or via representatives, or in cooperation with foreign companies. We participate in international specialized exhibitions held in Poland, Germany and Hungary. We have even been awarded golden and silver medals for our exhibited machines.
